COVID-19

Currently, it's hard for us to get away from news and updates on the Coronavirus a.k.a COVID-19. It's everywhere ... Television, Radio, Podcasts, Texts, Emails, Social Media Ads + more. The number of infections in the U.S. are still lower than it was in China, but COVID-19's presence seems to be just as big of a concern.

Emotions such as anxiety, panic and fear (AP&F) seem to be spreading along with the virus. In fact, AP&F has become highly contagious within the last few weeks. You can clearly see it by observing the empty shelves and the dry hands from constant washing and squeezing of hand sanitizer. Ironically, it seems that AP&F was heightened after the most recent measures taken by various states for safety. The things that we were once comfortable with doing are given second thought such as taking a trip, hanging out with friends, going out to eat, and attending events with large crowds.

Despite the spreading of the contagious COVID-19 + AP&F, there are good things that are surfacing:

  • People/Neighbors are offering helping hands

  • Hygiene is being taken more seriously

  • With the safety measures, families are spending more time with each other

  • We are all understanding the simple things in life that we may have taken for granted

Once this pandemic subsides, life will pick back up. Some will discard things learned through this situation while others will take time to reflect on lessons learned & opportunities gained. Regardless of which, there is no denying that this will be one for the history books. It will be something that everyone remembers.

In conclusion, continue to take precautions to remain healthy and do your best to help those around you to do the same.
